The Eid Festival in Victoria Park is organised by Leicester Community Assist (LCA), which is a UK-registered charity No.: 1166711. The ‘Eid Festival’ in Victoria Park is a non-profitable event offered freely to all Leicester communities irrespective of gender, age, faith, colour, race, and social background. It occurs twice a year, i.e., Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha. The festival starts with the ‘Eid Prayer’ followed by the ‘Eid Speech’ and a full-day festival according to the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (SAAW). The EF organisers and volunteers work entirely free of charge.
